Idéal pour une petite pause, nous avons beaucoup apprécié la bière fraîche sur le chemin de notre randonnée. La terrasse ombragée est agréable et l’ambiance sympathique avec de la musique peu forte. À noter: la maison n’accepte que le cash (CHF/EUR) ou twint (pas de carte de crédit). Prévoyez en conséquence!

Ideally situated on a walking trail. Parking on site. Superb views from the terrace out across the valley to the hills beyond. Stunning. And the owners are friendly and welcoming too. Perfect for a day trip in lovely Switzerland.

Perfect for a break after hiking. Traditional swiss food with good quality and kind service. Sitting outside is beautiful and quite relaxing with the nature surrounding. Enough parkspace which you don’t need when you go for a hike. The restaurant is connected to the beautiful hike trough the kaltbrunnental. Definitely come back

Willkommener Zwischenstopp auf unserer Wanderung. Sympathisches schattiges Plätzchen mit kühlen Getränken und verschiedenen Speisen. Perfekt für eine kleine Flucht aus der Sommerhitze.

Delicious fitness teller. The sauce on the chicken was particularly good. Good Appenzeller bier. Excellent midpoint for a hiking day.

Schön gelegenes Ausflugslokal, recht einfach gehalten. Speisekarte übersichtlich. (Im Oktober gab es z.B. kein Wild mehr) - als Pause auf dem Weg Richtung Chaltbrunntal aber zu empfehlen.
